Nathan - I graduated from IU in 1977 and live in Newport Beach, CA. I don't follow basketball at IU but it's fun to talk to fellow alums. Right now I am working on changing my career from software technology into the biotech world. Lot's for fun things to do! :-)

Perhaps we can have a socal IU get together and talk about the good old days at college. :-)

Hi! I just created this tribe on a lark when I saw that there wasn't an IU one yet.

I graduated with a degree in English in 1990. I live in Brooklyn NY now and work as a web developer.

        Hey All!!

It is snowing here in Connecticut. Just returned from Norfolk Va. Cold there too! I joined this tribe when I saw no one else from IU on the coast except for Marian. I did an MS degree at IU in Outdoor Recreation in 1980. Now have my own business in the marine industry here in Ct(in other words I do boating for a living). Would love to talk to more IU people.

    Hey,

I just graduated this past December (2003) with a Bachelor's in Applied Health Science, and I'm in Bloomington working at the YMCA as a preschool teacher/elementary school outreach person and as a birthday party organizer/superviser. I am also a childcare provider for a professor's child. I am waiting to find out if I make it into Teach For America. If I do, I don't know really where I want to move. I could go out to California and be closer to my mom, or I could go to Chicago, or the east coast. Haven't really decided yet. Has anyone gone through Teach For America or anything like it such as AmeriCorps?

At least IU won against Michigan last night--we're coming back, it's still a winning season! And, I just have to say that although I am an IU Alum, I am a much bigger fan of Notre Dame, since I'm from around there. Notre Dame won last night, too, in case anyone wanted to know.

I got my JD and MBA at IU-Bloomington in '98.

I really enjoyed my time there, and even law school was surprisingly a pleasure most of the time. Nice people, talented profs, and a gorgeous campus. I really do miss IU!

My wife and I met at IU, and I graduated with my Ph.D. in 1995. Now I'm back at the school of ed as a faculty member.

It's still as great as it was when I was a student, except the basketball tickets are a lot more expensive!!

If you want to know what's going on "on campus," just ask!

    Hi All!

I graduated in 79 with a Bachelor of Music, and in 82 with a Masters of Music. Soon after I got into computers and the rest is history :)

I moved from Washington DC to Seattle in 1988 and have been here ever since. I became an independent contractor in 95 and around the same time started Sage Computer Services (www.sagecomputerservices.com/).

Need a website? Look me up :)

    p.s. I still play piano :)

    Hi everyone,

I graduated from IU in May 2004 with my MBA in marketing. I moved to NY short time ago and set up my own company here in international travel. I still miss Bloomington and would love meeting other IU alums. Just drop me a line, if you are in the area.

    Hi, y'all,

Graduated in 82 with a BA in Theater & Drama ... but having been born and raised here, it was both imperative and difficult to leave. Made it out to Seattle in 86, tried NYC for a spell 95-97, back to Seattle, now back in B-town writing the second novel and looking after Mom.

I just went to my 30th HS class reunion last month (Oct 07) and another ex-Seattleite classmate had also just pulled up and moved back home. Go figure ...

But I have had enough Big City for a while. I think the next Big City I live in will be Paris.

It's now 3 years after the original post that started this topic, so Mike Davis is gone and Whatsisphone Sampson is in, but for how long? And will we be a winning team?
